The Light Studio is a branding and communications agency helping businesses and freelancers connect to their unique essence and express it authentically through powerful online platforms, content and storytelling.
Since 2013, we’ve been working with conscious businesses — creative freelancers, sustainable travel providers, ethical fashion brands, retreats, spiritual teachers, yoga studios, coaches and tourism organisations – to create their online channels and content through brand marketing strategy, graphic design, copywriting, photography and website creation.
We also offer 1:1 guidance helping DIY creatives strategize, plan and produce their own online channels and content.
Our focus on deep diving into a brand’s meaning allows us to channel the unique essence of the business, acting as guides and creative translators of the vision you see.

Katie is a brand strategist, writer and photographer, and the creator of award-winning travel blog, The Travelling Light.
Her work has been published in BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar, Conde-Nast Traveler, New York Magazine and more.
With a Bachelor of Business/Arts, Katie has worked in marketing roles for tourism boards and travel companies, and has worked for creative agencies in Paris and New York producing brand and content strategies as well as copywriting for their clients.
In 2013, with her first freelance client, Katie started working online for herself, living as a digital nomad all over the world. She settled in Paris for a few years before setting up home in a small town in Marche, Italy. She works remotely abroad for a few months every year.
Bringing together her expertise as a brand marketing professional with her background as a writer and photographer using her own authentic voice, Katie’s approach is rooted in the power of connecting with and using your own unique essence as well as the importance of storytelling to reach people.
